How much does a beer spa in Prague cost: the short answer
When you compare beer spa prices in Prague, look at what each figure covers, not just the figure itself. Are you paying per person or for the whole room? Is the beer genuinely unlimited? How much of your booking is spent in private, and does it include time to rest after the bath? Lázně Pramen has been running since 2008, and the price list at our Dejvice branch is deliberately simple. Below, we take it apart line by line, so you know exactly what you are paying for - and what you can happily skip.
The short version: the most affordable bath is a beer bath in a single tub, from €148 per room. That is the price for the whole booking, whether you come alone or as a pair. A wine bath in a single tub starts at €201 per room. Only one room, Golden Spring (Zlatý pramen), offers two tubs at the same time. The most extensive options are the V.I.P. packages in Emerald Spring (Smaragdový pramen), from €293. Massages in the Sapphire Spring (Safírový pramen) salt cave start at €33.
- Beer bath, one tub, 1-2 guests, 90 minutes: from €148 per room
- Wine bath, one tub, 1-2 guests, 90 minutes: from €201 per room
- Two in One, beer and wine in two tubs: €238 for 2 guests
- V.I.P. Beer SPA, 1-2 guests, 2.5 hours: from €293
- V.I.P. Wine SPA, 1-2 guests, 2.5 hours: from €326
- Relaxation massage, 30 minutes, in the salt cave: from €33
All prices are in euros, as on our website. The price depends on the treatment and the number of tubs, not on the name of the room. The next section explains how that works.
Why we price by the room, not by the person
"How much is it per person?" doesn't quite apply here, because what you book is an entire private room. A single tub takes up to two guests, and the price stays the same whether you soak alone or with a partner or friend. A beer bath in one tub therefore costs from €148 per room, for one guest or for two. You know the cost of the booking in advance, and it doesn't change with the number of guests in the tub.
The second rule is that the price is set by the treatment and the number of tubs, not by the specific room. Beer and wine baths in a single tub can be booked in Ruby Spring (Rubínový pramen), Emerald Spring and Golden Spring alike. What differs is the atmosphere and the capacity. Ruby Spring is the most intimate, with a single larch tub for one or two guests. Golden Spring is the largest, with two oak tubs for two to four guests. Emerald Spring is our V.I.P. room, complete with a cedar phyto-sauna. Choosing a room, then, is mostly a question of mood rather than budget.
The one exception is booking two tubs at once: then the price depends on the number of guests. You will find the exact figures for two, three and four guests further down. For now, three things are worth remembering:
- one tub = one price per booking, for 1 or 2 guests
- two tubs at once are only available in Golden Spring, and the price depends on the number of guests
- V.I.P. packages are for one or two guests only, Delux Wine SPA for one guest
This model has a practical consequence: for a couple, one tub is always the better deal. Booking two tubs for two people only makes sense if you each want something different - beer for one, wine for the other, say. Otherwise you will pay more without gaining anything that really matters.
The beer bath from €148: exactly what you get
With the classic beer bath, it is worth knowing precisely what €148 per room buys. Your visit lasts 90 minutes in a private room. Around ten minutes go on preparation: a specialist adds the natural blend to the water in front of you, so you can see exactly what goes into the tub. Then come 20 to 30 minutes in the water - usually about twenty, though you can stay for thirty if you like. The remaining time, roughly 50 minutes, is for resting on a heated bed of loose wheat straw. Preparation, bath and rest all fit within those 90 minutes.
Into the water go Petrovické zlato craft beer, Žatec hops, brewer's yeast and malt. The tubs are handmade from wood and fitted with an automatic whirlpool, and the water sits at 35-38 °C, close to body temperature, so the soak feels pleasantly warm rather than tiring. Your room has its own tap with unlimited light and dark beer, and snacks are included. Nobody else comes into your room during the booking, so the evening unfolds at your own pace.
- 90 minutes in a private room
- a natural blend of beer, hops, yeast and malt, added in front of you
- water at 35-38 °C with whirlpool
- unlimited light and dark beer from your own tap, plus snacks
- a heated wheat straw bed and an electric fireplace
An electric fireplace adds a warm glow and a sense of cosiness, helped along by the soft, warm light of the lamps. You shower before the bath - the shower is right there in the room. Afterwards, though, leave it alone: we recommend not rinsing off the blend for about two hours. A small wooden step helps you over the tub rim. For a fuller account of the whole ritual, read our piece on what happens during a beer bath. A single-tub beer bath can be booked in Ruby Spring, Golden Spring or Emerald Spring, and the one-tub price is the same in all three.
The wine bath from €201, and how it differs from beer
If wine is more your thing, a wine bath in a single tub starts at €201 per room. Again, that covers one or two guests, and again it is the price for the whole booking. The shape of the visit mirrors the beer bath: around ten minutes of preparation while the blend is added to the water in front of you, 20 to 30 minutes in the tub, and about 50 minutes of rest on the heated straw bed - 90 minutes in the room altogether. The difference lies in what is in the water and what is on the table.
For the wine bath we add red wine, grape seed and grape skin extracts, wine yeast, honey, herbal extracts and French lavender flowers. Instead of unlimited beer, you get a bottle of wine in the room - red or white, your choice - and a fruit and cheese platter.
- red wine, grape seed and grape skin extracts
- wine yeast, honey and herbal extracts
- French lavender flowers
- a bottle of red or white wine, as you prefer
- a fruit and cheese platter
The same rules apply as for beer: shower before the bath, then leave the blend on your skin for about two hours afterwards. The water is again 35-38 °C, and you can choose a tub in Ruby Spring, Golden Spring or Emerald Spring. The single-tub price doesn't vary between rooms. For a step-by-step description, see our article on what happens during a wine bath.
So which should you choose? If price is the main consideration, take the beer bath from €148 per room, the most affordable bath on our list. If you prefer wine and cheese to beer, you pay €53 more. And if the two of you simply can't agree, the answer is two tubs side by side - which is where we turn next.
Two tubs at once: prices for two, three and four guests
Only one room offers two tubs at the same time: Golden Spring. It is our most spacious room, with two oak whirlpool tubs, an electric fireplace and a heated bed of wheat straw, and it is designed for two to four guests. With two tubs, the price rises with the number of guests, which is why every figure below states how many people it covers. It is still the price for the whole room, not per person.
Two in One means a beer bath in one tub and a wine bath in the other, so each guest can pick whichever suits them. You can also book two beer baths or two wine baths. Here is how the prices break down:
- Two in One, beer + wine: €238 for 2 guests, €278 for 3 guests, €307 for 4 guests
- two beer tubs: €190 for 2 guests, €242 for 3 guests, €283 for 4 guests
- two wine tubs: €268 for 2 guests, €354 for 3 guests, €367 for 4 guests
Depending on the combination, Two in One includes unlimited beer and/or a bottle of wine, plus a fruit and cheese platter and/or beer snacks. Four guests in two beer tubs pay €283 for the entire room. For a couple who want the same thing, however, one tub remains the smarter choice: a beer bath from €148 per room is considerably cheaper than two beer tubs at €190 for two guests.
Larger groups can book several rooms at once. At any one time, our bathing rooms take a maximum of eight guests: four in Golden Spring, two in Ruby Spring and two in Emerald Spring. A party of six would take Golden Spring and Ruby Spring; eight guests fill all three bathing rooms. For groups of more than eight, the solution is staggered start times - one group at 17:00, say, and the other at 19:00. Meanwhile, the Sapphire Spring salt cave is available for massages. For groups, we may ask for a deposit or payment in advance, as set out in our terms and conditions.
The V.I.P. packages in Emerald Spring: when the upgrade is worth it
The three most extensive packages are available only in Emerald Spring. They last 150 minutes - two and a half hours. V.I.P. Beer SPA and V.I.P. Wine SPA are for one or two guests, Delux Wine SPA for one guest only. This isn't a party option. It is a longer, quieter evening for a couple, or for someone on their own who wants more than the bath alone. The room has a single larch tub with whirlpool, an electric fireplace, a heated wheat straw bed and, on top of that, a cedar phyto-sauna, otherwise known as the cedar barrel.
The phyto-sauna is a small upright barrel made of Siberian cedar. Your body sits inside while your head stays out. The steam comes from herbal infusions, and you spend roughly 15 minutes in the barrel. It is about comfort and relaxation, not medical treatment. What follows depends on the package you choose:
- V.I.P. Beer SPA, 1-2 guests: 15 minutes in the cedar phyto-sauna, a 30-minute relaxation massage or peeling, a beer bath with whirlpool, rest on the straw bed by the fireplace, unlimited light and dark Petrovické zlato with snacks - from €293
- V.I.P. Wine SPA, 1-2 guests: the same sequence with a wine bath, a bottle of wine and a fruit and cheese platter - from €326
- Delux Wine SPA, 1 guest only: the cedar phyto-sauna, a 20-minute wine peeling, a 40-minute wine wrap, a 40-minute full-body massage with grape seed oil, then rest by the fireplace with a glass of wine and a cheese platter - from €326
Delux Wine SPA is the only package that includes a bathrobe. Wine cosmetics are part of the Delux Wine SPA and V.I.P. Wine SPA packages only.
Is a V.I.P. package worth it? Set V.I.P. Beer SPA at €293 against a beer bath at €148 per room, and the difference buys you an extra hour, the cedar barrel and either a massage or a peeling. That can be worthwhile for an anniversary, a birthday or as a present. For a quick unwind after work, the classic bath is usually plenty. For V.I.P. packages, our terms and conditions allow us to ask for a deposit or payment in advance.
Salt cave massages and other services beyond the bath
If you mostly want your muscles worked loose, there is the Sapphire Spring salt cave, lined with ten tonnes of salt of three kinds: rock salt, Dead Sea salt and Himalayan salt. Here you will find a massage table, salt lamps, a lymphatic drainage device and equipment for mud and peat applications. Massages start at €33.
- Relaxation massage, 30 minutes, back, neck and shoulders: from €33
- Full-body relaxation massage, 60 minutes: from €50
- Sports massage, 60 minutes, deeper muscle work: from €75
- Pressotherapy lymphatic drainage, 45 minutes: from €23, by phone only, paid on site
- Mud and peat applications: price on request, by phone, paid on site
The 30-minute relaxation massage focuses on the back, neck and shoulders; for the full body, you need the 60-minute version. Massage here is for relaxation, not medical treatment. Lymphatic drainage isn't yet available through online booking, so give us a call and pay when you arrive. It can't be combined with a bath on the same visit.
The salt cave has one massage table. If you come as a pair, the massages run one after the other, and whoever is waiting relaxes in a comfortable armchair right there in the cave. A massage can be booked on its own or added to a bath.
At reception you can also buy the beer cosmetics we make ourselves. The range runs to exactly five products: beer shampoo, hair conditioner, body peeling, body scrub and bath salt - so hair care sits alongside body care. We don't list cosmetics prices on the website; just ask at reception when you visit.
Booking, cancellations and gift vouchers: what affects the final price
What you end up paying depends not only on the price list but also on how you plan your booking. You can book a treatment online through our booking page, by phone on +420 728 059 770, or by email at info@laznepramen.cz. A booking becomes binding as soon as our confirmation email reaches you. For V.I.P. packages and for groups, we may ask for a deposit or the full amount in advance.
Our cancellation terms are straightforward, and worth knowing before you book:
- cancellation more than 48 hours ahead: free, with a full refund
- cancellation 24-48 hours ahead: 50% of the price
- cancellation less than 24 hours ahead, or not turning up: 100% of the price
- rescheduling at least 48 hours ahead: free, subject to availability, by email or phone
Please arrive 10 to 15 minutes before your booking starts. If you are more than 15 minutes late, your visit may be shortened or cancelled without a refund. The terms in force at the moment your booking is confirmed always apply; you will find the full wording in our terms and conditions, together with a list of contraindications.
If you are giving a visit as a present, our gift vouchers come as PDFs in two forms: a voucher for a set amount, where the recipient chooses both the treatment and the date, and a voucher for a specific treatment, where they only need to pick a date. To redeem one, give the code when you book online, by phone or by email, give it at reception, or scan the QR code. If the treatment costs more than the voucher, you pay the difference when booking or on the day. A value voucher can be used in instalments, with the remaining balance valid until the expiry date. Validity runs from the day of purchase, and the expiry date is printed on the voucher itself. You can withdraw from the purchase of a voucher bought online within 14 days, either through the link in your confirmation email or by writing to info@laznepramen.cz. The money goes back to the original card, minus any services already used.
You will find us at Dejvická 255/18, Praha 6 - Dejvice, two minutes from Hradčanská metro station. We are open Monday to Friday from 10:00 to 22:00, and at weekends from 10:00 to 23:00. If you have any questions, get in touch via our contact page.
