Four rooms, one decision

Open our booking form for the first time and you will meet four names with a certain poetry to them: Zlatý pramen, Rubínový pramen, Smaragdový pramen and Safírový pramen. At a glance they might read as four flavours of the same thing. They are not. Each is a distinct space with its own atmosphere, capacity and rhythm for the evening. None is the "better" or "lesser" version of the others - each is built for a different occasion, a different number of guests and a different mood. By the end of this guide, you should know with complete confidence which name to click.

The single most important thing to grasp from the outset is how we price things. We charge per room, not per person. So if two people book a beer bath in one tub, they pay exactly the same as one person would. The layout of the tubs therefore decides two things at once: how many guests fit into a room, and how much you pay. The room itself is about atmosphere and capacity, never about a headcount surcharge.

One more thing worth saying up front: we are at Dejvická 255/18 in Prague 6, a two-minute walk from Hradčanská metro station. We are open on weekdays from 10:00 to 22:00 and at weekends from 10:00 to 23:00. Whichever of our private rooms you pick, you will have it entirely to yourselves - no shared pool, no strangers, just you and your company. In the chapters that follow we walk through each room in turn, compare them by group size, and finish with clear recommendations for the most common situations: a date for two, a celebration for four, a lavish gift, or an hour of massage on your own.

Rubínový pramen: the most intimate room for two

Rubínový pramen is our most intimate space. Built for one or two guests, it holds a single larch tub with an automatic whirlpool, an electric fireplace with a soft flickering glow, and a heated bed of wheat straw. A standard visit runs 90 minutes and falls into two parts: the first 20 minutes or so are spent submerged in water at 35 to 38 °C, and the remaining 50 minutes go to resting on the warm straw bed. It is precisely this rhythm - a hot soak followed by a long rest - that turns the visit into genuine recovery rather than a quick dip.

On price, Rubínový pramen is the natural choice for a couple who want to try the classic beer bath. It starts here from 148 EUR for the whole booking - that is per room, whether you come alone or as a pair. We add a fresh blend of Saaz hops, malt and brewer's yeast to the water right in front of you, and you have unlimited draught light and dark craft beer with snacks. If you prefer the wine bath, expect from 201 EUR per room - that includes a bottle of wine and a bath enriched with grape-seed extract, vine leaves, honey, herbs and French lavender flowers.

A small parting tip that applies to both the beer and the wine soak: there is a shower in every room, but we suggest leaving the beer or wine extract on your skin for about two hours after the treatment rather than washing it off with soap. Your skin stays softer and better nourished for a day or two as a result. Choose Rubínový pramen when you are coming as a pair or on your own, want calm and comfort, and have no need for two separate tubs. It is the most direct route to a private spa evening for two.

Zlatý pramen: room for four and the only one with two tubs

Zlatý pramen is our largest room and the only one where two oak tubs run at the same time. That makes it the obvious pick for a group of up to four - two couples, a circle of friends, or a small company team. Alongside the two whirlpool tubs you will find an electric fireplace and a heated straw bed roomy enough for everyone to stretch out during the 50-minute rest after the soak. The visit lasts the same 90 minutes as in the other tub rooms.

Because two tubs run at once, Zlatý pramen allows configurations that are simply impossible elsewhere. Fill both tubs with beer and you have a beer bath for two to four guests from 190 EUR per room. Both tubs with wine, a wine bath for two to four, comes to from 268 EUR. But the most intriguing option is the Combo: one tub of beer and one of wine at the same time, so everyone can pick their favourite. Combo starts at 238 EUR per room and is available only here.

  • Beer + beer (two tubs): from 190 EUR per room, 2-4 guests
  • Wine + wine (two tubs): from 268 EUR per room, 2-4 guests
  • Combo beer + wine: from 238 EUR per room, 2-4 guests
  • Capacity: up to 4 guests at once
  • Duration: 90 minutes

A quick note on budget: if there are only two of you and you want a beer soak, there is no need to pay for both tubs. In that case the cheaper and cosier option is a single tub in Rubínový pramen from 148 EUR. Two tubs in Zlatý pramen only make sense once you are three or four, or when two of you want beer and two want wine. In short, choose Zlatý pramen when there are more than two of you, or when you want everyone in the group to have their own bath.

Smaragdový pramen: the V.I.P. room with a cedar barrel

Smaragdový pramen is our V.I.P. room, and it is where all the premium rituals take place. It is designed for one or two guests, and a visit here lasts considerably longer than in the other rooms - roughly 2.5 to 3 hours. Beyond the larch whirlpool tub, the electric fireplace and the heated straw bed, you will also find a cedar barrel, a small cabin made from Siberian cedar. You sit inside it up to the neck, head out in the open, and the steam from herbal infusions warms you through before the soak itself. The cedar barrel is unique to this room - it is not a Finnish sauna, but exactly that: a cedar cask with herbal steam.

Here the decision is between three premium scenarios. V.I.P. Beer SPA for one or two guests starts at 293 EUR per room: fifteen minutes in the cedar barrel, then a relaxing massage or body scrub, followed by a beer bath and rest on the straw bed, with unlimited light and dark craft beer and snacks throughout. V.I.P. Wine SPA follows the same structure but with a wine bath, a bottle of wine and a fruit-and-cheese platter, and starts from 326 EUR.

Delux Wine SPA is our most exclusive ritual - and the only one strictly for a single guest. It takes in the cedar barrel, a wine scrub, a wine wrap, a full-body massage with grape-seed oil, and a closing rest with a glass of wine and a cheese basket. It is also the only package that comes with a robe, and it starts from 326 EUR. Choose Smaragdový pramen when you want an experience that unfolds over several hours, when you are in no hurry, and when you are after the most luxurious option for yourself or for two. It is not a room for a large group - the V.I.P. rituals are always for one or two guests only. And if you are hunting for a gift that takes someone's breath away, the strongest choice we offer starts right here, orderable as a gift voucher.

Safírový pramen: a salt cave with no tub

Safírový pramen differs from the other three rooms in one fundamental way: there is no tub. It is a salt cave holding roughly 10 tonnes of salt of three kinds - rock salt, Dead Sea salt and Himalayan salt. Walls clad in salt, the gentle light of salt lamps and a massage couch create a setting made for massage and wellness treatments rather than bathing. So if you are looking for a beer or wine bath, this is not the room. For easing tired muscles, letting go and caring for your skin, though, it is ideal.

The menu in Safírový pramen is built around a handful of treatments for a single guest. A relaxing back, neck and shoulder massage lasting 30 minutes starts from 33 EUR; a 60-minute full-body relaxing massage from 50 EUR. A 60-minute sports massage, with deeper work into the muscle, starts from 75 EUR. Beyond massages we also offer pressotherapy - mechanical lymphatic drainage - lasting 45 minutes; it is booked on its own and cannot be combined with a bath in a single visit. Mud and peat applications are also available, priced case by case.

  • Relaxing massage 30 min: from 33 EUR
  • Relaxing massage 60 min: from 50 EUR
  • Sports massage 60 min: from 75 EUR
  • Mechanical lymphatic drainage 45 min: standalone treatment, not combined with a bath
  • Mud and peat applications: priced case by case

A smart move is to pair a massage in the salt cave with a soak in one of the tub rooms - you make the two bookings separately and put together your evening exactly as the mood takes you. While one of you rests after a beer bath, the other can slip into a massage in Safírový pramen. The salt cave works both as an add-on and as a treatment in its own right, for anyone who simply wants an hour of massage without getting wet.

A quick comparison: how the rooms differ

Set all four rooms side by side and the differences leap out. The deciding factor is almost always the number of guests, and whether you want one tub, two tubs, a long V.I.P. ritual, or no soak at all. The summary below captures what defines each room and the situation it is built for.

  • Rubínový pramen - 1 to 2 guests, one larch tub, 90 minutes. The most intimate room. Beer bath from 148 EUR, wine bath from 201 EUR per room.
  • Zlatý pramen - 2 to 4 guests, two oak tubs at once, 90 minutes. The only room for the Combo. Two beer tubs from 190 EUR, two wine tubs from 268 EUR, Combo from 238 EUR per room.
  • Smaragdový pramen - 1 to 2 guests, one tub plus a cedar barrel, 2.5 to 3 hours. The V.I.P. room. V.I.P. Beer SPA from 293 EUR, V.I.P. Wine SPA from 326 EUR, Delux Wine SPA (1 guest only) from 326 EUR per room.
  • Safírový pramen - a salt cave with no tub, massages from 33 EUR, sports massage from 75 EUR.

Total capacity is also worth a thought if you are planning a bigger event. In any given hour, the tub rooms hold at most eight guests - four in Zlatý pramen, two in Smaragdový and two in Rubínový. The Safírový pramen salt cave then runs in parallel for further massages. A group of six we usually split between Zlatý pramen (four) and Rubínový pramen (two); a group of eight fills the whole house. If there are more than eight of you, we stagger the start times - one group at 17:00, say, and another at 19:00 - rather than cramming everyone in together.

The last difference is time. Rubínový and Zlatý pramen run to 90 minutes, which slots comfortably into a single evening. Smaragdový pramen wants 2.5 to 3 hours - it is a slower, whole-evening affair. Safírový pramen follows the length of the particular massage. So before you book, think not only about who you are coming with, but about how much time you have.

Which spring for your situation

Theory done - now to the practical part. Most visits fall into one of a few typical scenarios, and each has a clear best choice. Let us run through them in order so you can find your own.

A date for two. For a classic romantic date, Rubínový pramen is ideal. One tub, an electric fireplace, a straw bed and privacy - exactly what a couple wants. A beer bath from 148 EUR or a wine bath from 201 EUR per room. If you want to lift the date into something extraordinary and have the whole evening for it, reach for Smaragdový pramen and the V.I.P. Wine SPA from 326 EUR.

A celebration for three or four. Here Zlatý pramen and its two tubs win out. When part of the group wants to bathe in beer and part in wine, the Combo from 238 EUR per room is precisely the right call. Two beer tubs come to from 190 EUR, two wine tubs from 268 EUR.

A lavish gift or a special moment alone. The Delux Wine SPA in Smaragdový pramen from 326 EUR is for a single guest and includes a robe, the cedar barrel, a wine scrub and wrap, and a full-body massage. There is nothing more premium on our menu.

Just a massage, no soak. If you want an hour of recovery without a tub, head to Safírový pramen for a relaxing or sports massage from 33 EUR.

A corporate event. A team of up to eight we can handle at once by combining rooms; larger groups we manage with staggered start times. If you are a hotel, a travel agency or a concierge and would like to offer our spa to your clients, we run a partner programme with a commission from 10% on every confirmed booking, rising across four tiers up to 25% depending on the volume of bookings. Payouts are monthly, with no minimum volume and no joining fee, and you get a personal QR code, a referral link and a clear dashboard.

How to book, and when to choose a gift voucher

Once you know which spring is yours, the booking itself takes only a few minutes. On our website you use the booking widget to pick a date, the number of guests, the type of bath and the room. The system shows you available slots itself, so there is no need to phone anyone. If you are still unsure which room or package to choose, get in touch through our contact page and we will advise you based on how many of you there are and what you want from the evening.

Let us restate the single rule that decides the price: you pay per room, not per person. If there are two of you coming for a beer bath, the cheapest and cosiest option is a single tub in Rubínový pramen from 148 EUR. Two tubs in Zlatý pramen only make sense once you are three or more, or when everyone wants their own bath. That way you never overpay for capacity you will not use.

If you are buying the experience as a gift, reach for a gift voucher. It is digital, valid for twelve months, and the recipient chooses which treatment and date to use themselves. That is especially handy when you do not know whether the person you are treating prefers beer, wine, or perhaps a massage in the salt cave - they decide. A voucher is also an elegant solution when someone happens, for now, to fall into one of the groups for whom we do not recommend our baths.

Which brings us to a final note. Our baths and massages are not suitable for everyone - the full list of contraindications, which includes pregnancy, cardiovascular conditions, acute inflammation and allergies to any of the bath ingredients, is set out in our terms and conditions. If any of these apply to you, a gift voucher with a year's validity is the safe choice: the experience does not go to waste and can be enjoyed when the moment is right. Whichever spring you settle on in the end, we trust you will spend an evening in Dejvice that stays with you for a long time.
